This is the story of my cat, Waji and myself. It will tell you of our adventures, show pictures of Waji, and give you links to purchase children's books about us that I wrote if you so desire.

Historical Building (Pictures)
Here are some pictures of a Historical building we saw in one of the more recent Oklahoma towns we visited.
The building was erected in 1878. There also was a sign about the Trail of Tears which wasn't taken. But it something that was associated with the building also.

Lost Contact
I lost contact with Don temporarily and can not give you an update on where he is at. I just got internet connection back myself and will probably be posting some photos I downloaded that he had taken when I last saw him. I will start that tomorrow. And I will let you know where he is when I receive word from him. Sorry for the lack of posts in the past week due to no internet.

Henryetta,Oklahoma is Where We Are
Unfortunately, Don did not give me any photos of some his more recent sightings. So I will just be informing you of what he is doing and possibly of when he will be leaving from where he is at. Don has been showing of Waji and the books last night and again early this evening at the carnival going on in town. He should be visiting the rodeo later tonight and but not sure if he is staying for it again tomorrow night. The latest he plans on leaving is Sunday unless something unexpected comes up.

Night's Stay
Our plan is to stay at least a night or two in Henryetta, Oklahoma. I do believe they are having some sort of labor day celebration and may stay if I can find a place to pitch the tent.

Very Nice Help at Church
We stopped at a church (Arrow Heights Baptist Church) last night just to ask for a place to pitch our tent. Instead with a couple of persuading nudges, we ended up spending the night in a Quality Inn with a comfortable bed, a much appreciated shower, and a free continental breakfast. How nice! In turn I left them with one of my books for their much appreciated night of comfort.

Staying in Tulsa until Weekend's Event is No Go
We were asked to pull up camp where we were staying last night. And could not find a place to stay so pitched tent for the night behind a church hoping we would not be causing any trouble. I don't think it was a problem since we did not get any visitors asking us to move. Otherwise since we can not find any camping nearby, we are going to start heading south on Hwy 169 earlier than we had wanted to.
